Ian Love is a sculptor and furniture designer whose one-of-a-kind pieces merge functional design with collectable art. Working primarily in reclaimed and locally sourced wood, he creates functional and sculptural objects that honor the history of each piece. His intuitive, hand-carved approach yields pieces that are raw, refined, and deeply individual.
Ian’s work is represented by Fair Gallery at 200 LEX, Jeff Lincoln Gallery in South Hampton and AM Collective in New York’s West Village. His art and sculptural furniture live in private collections across the country, including in Louis Vuitton’s Los Angeles Flagship—and are sought after by interior designers and collectors for their unique presence and soul.
With a background in music, Ian came to furniture design through a self-taught, deeply intuitive path. He now works from his studio on Long Island, creating pieces that are part of a growing body of enduring and collectable design.
